About Clowning

One of my yoga Teacher trainings was in India next to the sea. We did a 4 hour Asana practice in the morning and two hours of restorative poses and pranayama in the afternoon. When we came out of class it was sunset. My daily ritual was to dance, sing and play until the sun disappeared behind the waves. And then I went into the sea. I had abandoned theatre for a while because of troubles with my ego and a need to find myself(through yoga). But day after day my sunset ritual was telling me: “Your job is theatre woman, you need to play, you need to move, you need to step out of everything you think you know to find what you really are: everything and nothing at the same time.” When I came back from India I did my first Clowning Workshop. This was the beginning of a story of love and self-realization that lasts till today, and hopefully forever!
